Objective: Seeking more arduous tasks
Experience: I began sales as a cold caller and have been in some form of sales for my entire life. *Every word exchange is a sale.
Current: Walt’s Automotive & Transmission, Chart House Restaurant & Niko’s Toy Box
At Walt’s Auto, I’m called in as needed to do work on the older vehicles, office work, clean, fix and or repair equipment. I’ve known the owner for 24 years. I’m a line chef at Chart House and I build websites, complete assorted low voltage tasks and SEO for myself at Niko’s Toy Box.
Sales
13’ to 15’ Kent’s Rentals Granada Nicaragua
Ran ads on my blogs, website, Craig’s List and Back-Page for the two rental properties. Greet the renter, explain the living accommodation rules, gather the deposit and just keep an eye on things.
15’ to 17’ Independent Ta Khmau, Cambodia
I primarily assisted vacationers with finding any and everything they needed for their stay in SE Asia including but not limited to accommodations, food, housing, trip information, nightlife, Tuk Tuks, embassies, etc.
94’ to 97’ Goin’s Construction Daytona Beach, FL.
FHA canvasing, explain the program to the potential customer, close the contract and go back as the electrician on the aforementioned.
80’s & 90’s Valco Sales, Barb Vanyo & Rocco Gardenia Buffalo, NY
I lumped this because they’re all the same, I began with intro’s or cold calling, then to TO > verification > script monitoring > to reloads > management and finally teaching/coaching.
*I’ve never had a job without performing tasks on my own, and no, none of my endeavors ever infringed on “non-compete” clauses or agreements.
Individuals with the entrepreneurial drive must sell themselves and we have been doing so our entire lives. I.E. Before we were old enough to speak, when our mother’s told us, “No” while shopping, we did something in that grocery store to get that toy in the cereal box. Either we sold our mom and got the item or she sold us and we didn’t.
